A couple of days in Belgium

Last week, my wife, daughter, and I enjoyed a peaceful getaway in the Belgium Ardennes. We stayed in a charming wooden tiny house nestled in the forest — a perfect retreat to disconnect and spend quality time together.
Besides walking the dog and some bike rides in my gravelbike I’ve also worked on my painting and drawing skills ;-)
Durbuy
We explored picturesque towns like Stavelot, with its historic abbey and tranquil streets, and Durbuy, often called the smallest city in the world, full of cobbled lanes and cozy cafés. The natural beauty and relaxed pace made it ideal for family walks and local discoveries.

Liège
One highlight was our visit to Liège, where I stopped by Schleiper, a renowned art and stationery store located at Rue de la Cathédrale 27. The shop is a treasure trove for creatives, offering a wide range of art supplies, craft materials, and a dedicated framing department. It was inspiring to browse their collection and pick up some quality materials for future projects.

This trip gave us the perfect mix of nature, culture, and creativity:-)
Our next trip is a short citytrip to Berlin. Looking forward to create some drawings and paintings there.
